We can help school districts create School Accountability Report Cards (SARCs). Our service is timely and economical. There are many advantages of using Revived Images to prepare your school district's SARCs.
How It Works...
Follow these steps:
The Details:
- Sign up for a free account. Click on the link "Sign Up/Log In For A Demo". Your email address will be your login name. Be sure to give a valid email address. It is required in case you forget your password.
- Add schools and reports to your account. Once you have signed in, choose your county, district and then schools. You can choose individual schools or the link "add all schools in district." Then click on "add reports". In the demo period, the only report you can add is a demonstration of the 2009-10 report (last year's). When the new data becomes available, you will be able to add the 2010-11 report (which is due February 1, 2012).
- Edit your report. You will be presented with the tables and narratives you can edit.
- In the demo mode you will see a sample of the tables so you can see how the process works.
- When the state data is released and available on Revived Images' site, you can edit the 2010-11 SARC. At that time you will see all the tables which require either your input or editing. A list of those tables is shown below.
- Each table or narrative (text box) on the edit page can be edited by you. If needed, you can copy and paste from other documents to complete your narratives. Next year all these narratives will be pre-populated for you, along with the new CDE data, making it even more streamlined in subsequent years.
- Be sure to click on the button "SAVE THIS SECTION" as you finish each table or narrative.
- Request a quote and business agreement. It is recommended you do this early so we can credit your account as soon as possible. The reports can not be downloaded until a purchase order or payment has been received. At that time all reports can be downloaded.
- Multi-year Contract. If you would like to take advantage of our discounts for multi-year contracts (two years or more), request a business agreement and quote.
- Translations. For each school site, if you need a Spanish translation as well as an English version, this constitutes two different reports. Each translation is a seperate report.
- Costs:
- The fee for each report is $100.
- Multi-year contracts include a 10% discount or $90 for each report.
- Large school districts (15 or more separate SITES) receive a 10% discount or $90 per report. Multi-year contracts for large school districts result in a cost of $80 per report.
- We do not require the purchase of any additional products or services in order to secure this pricing structure.
- You receive credit. Once we receive either a purchase order or check payment, we credit your account for the number of paid reports. After downloading your reports, we will bill you if you sent a purchase order.
- Finish editing your reports. You can edit the report as much as you need or as the state releases new data. You can also see the Spanish translation of the basic report. We enable TWO translation methods: 1.) an automatic translation service (computer-based) on our web site for your narratives, or 2.) Professionl (human) translation by native Spanish speaking educators (an additional $50 fee). You can take advantage of either of these services if you want a Spanish translation. You can also edit the automatic or professional translation as needed. Our system gives you as much flexibility as possible and is still extremely economical.
- Download your report in PDF format. After payment, you receive a pdf file for posting on your website. You can edit the report again, if needed, and you can download the report as many times as you want without incurring any additional charges or losing your credits with us.
- Post your report to your website. The deadline is February 1, 2012.
Some auditors are requiring the "posting" date be clearly seen on your website along with the actual link to the report. To avoid being late on this, we strongly recommend that you edit and download your reports a month or two in advance. We recommend you post your reports early, and then if there is new data from the state, re-download your SARC with the updated information and post again. The state released some data last year on February 1 and yet still expected the SARC to be done and posted on that date. The good news is, that is now possible with our system. However we recommend you not wait for February 1st for your initial posting. Take advantage of the opportunity to download the same report multiple times with no additional fee as the state provides new data. You have the freedom to update as needed.
If you need Revived Images to host your SARC on our web server we can provide that as a option. Please contact us about that service.
Tables And Narratives You Can Edit.
Unlike this demo page, all of the following tables will be provided for you to edit once the new California Department of Education (CDE) data is released. We anticipate the release in November. These tables are provided for you to edit for one of three reasons: 1. The CDE data may need to be updated, for instance the names of administrators. 2. The CDE intends to provide the data, but can't always deliver it all. They sometimes require the LEA to provide the information. 3. Some tables and narratives are designed to be completed by the LEA.
